Monitors to measure noise levels were stationed during dredging near work activities in the Upper Hudson, and around the perimeter of the Processing, Treatment and Transportation Facility located north of Lock 7 along the Champlain Canal.

In the river, when dredging activities ceased in a particular area, noise measurements were no longer collected there until dredging began again. All of the data collected by GE to assess compliance with EPA's standard for noise was submitted to EPA on a daily basis.

A list of monitoring locations closest to that area -- represented by the green dots on the map -- will appear. Then click on a location to view all the data collected from that monitoring location since dredging began in May 2009.
